Think Park In Nimman Area

Bringing the old and new together to enjoy

The big cat at theThink ParkTea tycoon Mr. Tan Passakornnatee, the founder of leading tea brands Ichitan and Oishi and owner of many different businesses and projects around the country gifted 5 Rai of land to his daughter Varisa Passakornnatee who previously graduated from St. Martins school of arts in London and wished to create an art museum in Chiang Mai. And … Think Park was born.

Enjoy arts, crafts and culture and have a relaxing time at Think Park

The idea behind the project is to focus on bringing the old and new together in a way that everybody can enjoy arts, crafts and culture and can have a relaxing time instead of going to for example yet another shopping mall. The beautiful main building with the signature big cat in front is an attraction on its own and is surrounded by shops in tiny cobbled stone streets which to me even have a little bit of a Mediterranean feel, the shops are deliberately kept small so artists can afford the rent.

Arts, exhibitions, technology and science in Think Park

Think Park street

Situated on the Southwest corner of Nimmanhaemin rd and Huay Kaew rd opposite Maya, this neighborhood is well on its way to becoming the heart and center of art and culture in Chiang Mai and with the gallery being it’s newest addition this concept can only grow further.

On some evenings Think park hosts events in arts, exhibitions, technology and science and sometimes there is a market being held underneath the beautiful, giant tree that is saved by the developers and is decorated with loads of lights to create a wonderful and magical atmosphere.

During the daytime, Think park has become a popular hangout for students and the youthful, modern alike and you can even practice your skate-board skills by making use of the newly build skate park located at the back of the building.

Enjoy delicious and beautiful presented pastries in the main building or just stroll and relax during your shopping in the surrounding small and original businesses.

Think Park is definitely worth a visit during your stay in Chiang Mai!
